Life of the Tay ethnicity lives on Lake Ba Be,H'mong communities live on the rocky plateau..Walk about 10km per day about 7 miles

 

BRIEF ITINERARY:
Day 1 :   Hanoi - Phuc Yen - Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang - Pac Sum Pass - Quan Ba Pass - Heaven Gate - Fairy Bosom - Tam Son - Nam Dam (Homestay) Dzao people 
 Day 2 : Nam Dam - Yen Minh – Ma le ( Homestay Zay People - Trekking to villages - Hmong's King Palace - Dong Van
Day 3 : Dong Van - Trekking to villages - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac
Day 4 : Meo Vac – Black Lo lo in Bao Lac 
Day 5 : Bao lac – Ba Be – Boat trip in Ba Be lake 
Day 6 : Ba Be – Tea plantation – Hanoi 
Details Itinanery : 
Day 1 : Hanoi – Ha Giang – Nam Dam Village (L,D
This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel at 7AM by our driver and tour guide (With a distance of 300 km from Hanoi to Ha Giang City it normally takes about 7 hours to get there by a private car. On there way, we will pass Phuc Yen and Vinh Yen which are 2 main towns of Vinh Phuc Province. We then go pass by Tay Thien Pagoda which is located in Tam Dao range of mountain. We will stop for lunch at a restaurant in Ham Yen which is about 42km from Tuyen Quang City, the main town of Tuyen Quang Province. After we have great lunch with local dishes we keep going along Lo river to Ha Giang City, that is located by Lo river, Ha Giang City is the headquarter ofHa Giang Province. You might stop in Ha Giang for coffee then continue going to Nam Dam village (48km from Ha Giang City). We arrive in Minh Tan which is considered as a new gate of Dong van karst plateu, where you car climb to Pac Sum Pass, the pass which is about 15km long. We pass Quyet Tien village where local people grow organic vegetable for Ha Giang City. We climb up Quan Ba Pass where on the top of it is Heaven gate which used to be the old gate of old Dong Van district. From Heaven gate, we go down about 1 km then climb to a top of mountain and look down to Tam Son Town where 2 mountains look like Fairy Bosoms are located. Arrive in Nam Dam villages located in Quan Ba district about 5PM. Tonight we will spend time for dinner with local people and overnight in Nam Dam village.
Day 2 : Nam Dam – Yen Minh – MaLe   trekking village to Village  (B.L.D) 
After breakfast at homestay in Nam Dam village – our minivan will transfer  visit Lung Khuy cave . Lung Khuy cave is around 300m in length with many different branches, magnificent stalactites and fancy shapes stimulating the imagination of visitors. walk along the earthen road for more than one kilometer. After we transfer to - Lung Tam village to visit Hop Tien linen cooperative - Duong Thuong village - Lung Ho village - Mau Due village - Tham Ma pass - Pho Cao village - 9 circle pass - Lan Si village - Sung La village - Lung Hoa village - Trekking through villages (8 km long/5.5 miles long) – Lung Tao village - Minivan picks up you from Lung Tao village to Ma le ..Tonight we overnight in Homestay with Zay people in Male 
Day 3 :  Male – Dong Van – Meo Vac Trekking Village to Village ( B,L.D) 
After have breakfast . Male Village  trekking to Pu Lo fortress which was built in 1890 and evacuated in 1945. From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the entire region. We then trek from Dong Van to Thien Huong village, this a mazing Black Hmong villages down the valley of frontier Vietnam and China, we then comeback Dong Van for lunch. In the afternoon. You will climb up 15 km to the top of the Ma Pi Leng Pass, through a gigantic maze of limestone peaks, stone forests, and canyons before descending into the valley of Meo Vac. Tonight we will overnight in Meo Vac.
Day 4 : Meo Vac – Bao Lac  (B. L .D)  
You will take mountain road from Meo Vac to Bao Lac . Driving distance 100 km ..on the way make some stop , Visit A great day passed in the mountains north of Bao Lac, where we visit the villages of the lolo, a small minority which has carefully kept its tribal customs. Lolo ethnic minority people are descendants from Yunnan province,
Unlike the Lolo of Lung Cu and the Flower Lolo of Meo Vac, the Black Lolo are still considered a hill tribe as they reside in wooden stilt houses along the mountians habitable edges. Like many hill tribes they follow a Animist style faith, worshiping the gods of the mountain and the forrest, the ghosts of their ancestors and the recently deceased, and they link their lives to the lunar cycle.Overnight in hotel Bao Lac 
Day 5 : Bao Lac – Ba be lake ( B,L.D) 
After have breakfast at hotel , we depart to Ba Ba Lake , drive though bumpy road belong the river and terrace rice fields..Arrival the afternoon, with your available time, you can visit Hua Ma cave – a very beautiful cave in Ba Be national park with natural stalagmites & stalactites and have free time exploring local village of Pac Ngoi.Overnight in Pac Ngoi village
Day 6 : Ba Be Lake Boat trip – Hanoi ( B.L
Ba Be lake boat tour to Fairy Pond, Dau Dang waterfall & Puong Cave on Ba Ba lake & Nang river.Pick up at Puoc Lom harbour
After breakfast, you check out the room, load your lugguage inside the car and explore Ba Be national park on a boat tour ( pay yourselves in your wished duration) to Fairy Pond, Dau Dang waterfall & Puong grotto ( 3- 4 hours) depending on your time spent on each destination.Then the boat will drop you at Puoc Lom harbour where our driver is waiting and transfers you back to Hanoi
